The Monoi Road / La Route du Monoi
The Monoï Road® officially opened on June 3, 2010 in Tahiti. A customizable itinerary offers all lovers of Monoi Oil the opportunity to explore Monoï de Tahiti in it's birthplace.
The Monoï Road was created by an initiative of the Monoï Institute and the Chamber of Commerce of French Polynesia, and is a unique invitation to discover this "cult oil" on its natural land. With 22 « à la carte » stops around the Island of Tahiti, the Monoi Road allows you to learn about its natural ingredients, its unique preparation and many uses for skin and hair.
Visit a field of Tiare Tahiti Flowers at Tahiti Plantations, a Tahitian Coconut grove, attend a botanical workshop, meet with a Mama, indulge in a traditional massage performed by a Tauha or in a modern spa. Each stop will be a fabulous encounter with the process of making this wonderful, natural cosmetic, Monoi de Tahiti Oil.
